Pixar Fest 2024 in Disneyland runs April 26 to August 24, 2024
The 2024 Pixar Fest celebrating Friendship and Beyond has officially started at Disneyland and will run all the way through August 4, 2024. This year, there are new ways to celebrate some of our favorite Pixar friends and stories in California Adventure, Disneyland park, Downtown Disney District and in the Pixar Place Hotel.
Here are some things you won’t want to miss during this fun celebration of all the Pixar things at Disneyland Resort right now through August 4th.

Experiences at Pixar Fest
Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular
Get ready to watch Buzz Lightyear fly through the air over Sleeping Beauty’s castle on Main Street USA and see the stories of Pixar come alive with projections, colorful lasers and music!
Fireworks will be added select nights, but honestly this show is so fun and full of music, characters and fun, fireworks are icing! However, if fireworks are a priority, let your MAT Advisor know and she will find dates that work best for you!
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!
Twice a day in the afternoon, you can watch a brand new colorful daytime parade featuring more than 2 dozen favorite characters from Pixar Animation Studios films.
- The iconic Luxo Jr lamp gets is own float, and he is covered in stickers with connections to Pixar Animation characters and stories
- Red Panda Mei and her friends from Turning Red come together and rock out to their favorite boy band, 4*Town (we know you secretly don’t turn off “Nobody like U” when it comes on!)
- Carl, Dug and Wilderness Explorer friends including KEVIN
- Joy and Sadness fly their Rocket Wagon
- Make sure you are ready to dance when the flat featuring Luca, Alberto and Giulia, from Luca comes by!
- Joe Gardner and 22 bring their worlds together
- Mr and Mrs Incredible with Frozone
- and more!
With fun floats, and a great soundtrack, this parade is a great one to grab a snack and watch later in the day!
Club Pixar
Later in the day into evening during Pixar Fest, The Hollywood Backlot offers photo opportunities and nearby face painting, music, dancing and more with

- Pixar-themed versions of games like cornhole and tic
tac toe - photo opportunities
- themed food
- specially crafted tasty beverages
- favorite Pixar shorts featured in a “drive-in” theatre
Pixar Pals Playtime Party
Around lunchtime until early evening, stop by a reading and coloring area, snap pictures at the Monsters Inc., Cars, Onward, Up and A Bug’s Life backdrops, play Pixar themed interactive games and activities and watch a selection of Pixar shorts on a big screen.
Hope you wear your dancing shoes! There is also a stage area where characters will rotate in, dance and offer more Pixar character greetings here as well including Ian and Barley from Onward, Russell and Dug from UP, Ember and Wade from Elemental and Luca!

Parade Viewing Package at Sonoma Terrace
For $69 (ages 3 and up) you get:
- A selection of Pixar-inspired foods, desserts and cheeses
- Unlimited soft drinks and bottled water, plus coffee and a specialty mocktail
- Reserved seating for parade viewing at Sonoma Terrace
The package is available for each parade and starts about 45 minutes before each parade starts, so you will still want to arrive early for the best seat selection and keep in mind smaller parties may be seated with parties.
