There are plenty of complimentary dining options onboard a Royal Caribbean cruise, including the Main Dining Room experience which offers a nice selection of rotating flavors and classic favorites. There is something for every taste here with several beef, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian options each evening.
Looking for something quick so you and the family can hop back into the pool? No worries! The Windjammer buffet will have tasty breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings. There are plenty of other grab and go options on the ship, like the Park Café, Solarium Bistro or MAT Owner Christy’s after dinner and dancing cruising obsession…the cheesy goodness of Sorrento’s Pizza.
Additionally, if you want to explore specialty dining options, there is a variety of restaurants available on each ship for those who would like to taste all Royal has to offer! These vary per ship, but some of our favorites are:

Adventure and fun for the kiddos 3-11 years old
From day to evening, your children can explore Adventure Ocean, Royal Caribbean’s award winning youth program!
The staff in Adventure Ocean are true professionals in their fields and hold 4 year degrees in areas such as Early Childhood Education, Science, Art and more! These young professionals will make sure that your kids are not only in a safe environment, but having fun and secretly educational! Don’t worry, kids are broken up into 3 age groups for developmentally appropriate fun like science experiments, art & crafts, video games, board games, a library, and more!
Our favorite part about bringing the kids on a Royal Caribbean cruise, is the Adventure Ocean Kids Clubs are included in your cruise fare! Though, we should warn you, your children might have SO much fun in Adventure Ocean you may have to drag them out!
Have teens sailing with you on the cruise?
Don’t worry, Royal Caribbean has special spaces and events for your teenagers as well that include organized sports, pool parties, karaoke, themed dances, ping pong, DJ training, gaming, and more! Teens are broken into 2 groups, 12-14 years and 15-17 years so they can enjoy exclusively teen areas, activities and fun with other teens their age.
Are you thinking about bringing your toddler on a Royal Caribbean cruise?
There are childcare options for kids under 3 years as well, please note offerings vary by ship.
The Royal Babies (for ages 6-18 months) and Royal Tots (for ages 18-36 months) is a fun, complimentary stay & play program that is for kids WITH parents that includes arts and crafts, music and Royal bedtime stories.
Nursery is available for an additional charge on most ships, so parents can have a little time for daytime fun or enjoy an evening out without the littles.
