Thankfully, Disney Cruise Line sails to the Bahamas year round! For those who want a longer vacation, there are also of 5, 6 and 7 night Disney Cruise sailings available, and there are longer non-Bahamian focused cruises that incorporate a stop in the Bahamas before coming into the Florida ports from time to time as well. What Disney ships sail to the Bahamas?

Through May of 2027, the Disney Wish will sail exclusively 3 and 4 night Disney Cruises to the Bahamas.

The Disney Fantasy will sail mostly 4 and 5 night Bahamian sailings through May of 2027 out of Port Canaveral.

The Disney Dream will primarily sail 4 and 5 night Bahamian and Western Caribbean itineraries out of Fort Lauderdale through May of 2027.

The Disney Magic will sail from San Diego before returning to Galveston in late 2026. For select sailings in December 2026, January and April 2027 Disney Cruise Line will sail to the Bahamas from Galveston and Texas is READY for it!

In 2026 and Spring 2027, the Disney Destiny will primarily sail 4 and 5 night Bahamian and Western Caribbean itineraries out of Fort Lauderdale, and many of the sailings will double dip to Disney private Bahamian islands, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

Through May of 2027, the Disney Treasure is sailing Caribbean Cruise Itineraries which stop at Disney’s Private island ports, Disney’s Castaway Cay.

When is the best time to book a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas?
With Disney Cruise Line, booking sooner is better. Prices usually do not decrease, and they rarely go on sale. Ever. The most budget friendly sailings will be during dates when children are traditionally in school. As a rule of thumb, holidays and high demand weeks (like Spring Break) will have peak pricing. What itineraries are available for 2026 and 2027 Disney Cruises to the Bahamas?

Castaway Cay
Castaway Cay is an incredible private island paradise owned by Disney Cruise Line, used exclusively by Disney Cruise Line guests. This beautiful island port acts as an extension of your Disney Cruise ship in the beautiful Bahamas, and because the ship docks directly at the island, families can walk ashore and enjoy beaches, recreation, included dining and Disney entertainment without tender transportation.
You might wonder, “What is there to do at Castaway Cay?” The short answer is, a LOT. If you want to relax and chill, or run, slide and splash, there are options for you. Disney Castaway Cay offers family-friendly fun with plenty of spots in the sun or in the shade, and you can spend your time with the family or on the adult exclusive beach. Play hard or relax hard, your choice! While this is not an exhaustive list, here are some of our favorite things to do at Castaway Cay:
- Splash, swim and play on the family beach
- Snorkel in the blue lagoon (complete with a marked snorkeling lagoon with submerged Disney details and lifeguards)
- Paddle a kayak, paddleboat or aquatrike (additional cost for rental)
- Play volleyball, soccer or tetherball on the sports beach
- Ride on twisting slide at Pelican Plunge, a floating water play area
- Children can play in the ON-ISLAND kids club at In Scuttle’s Cove and at the In Da Shade Game Pavilion
- Teens 14-17 have their own dedicated area
- Enjoy the adult-exclusive Serenity Bay beach
- Eat all you want at Cookies BBQ

Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
The newest Disney destination in the Bahamas is Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, located on the southernmost tip of Eleuthera where the Atlantic and Bahamian waters meet. This island was designed with legendary Imagineer Joe Rohde, who also developed Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park. Disney Cruise Line worked with Bahamian artists, historians and cultural ambassadors to create this tropical paradise, and a lot of care and thought was put into the design, layout and vibe of this island as a tribute to the culture, people and beauty of the Bahamas.
There are plenty of options for everyone to relax or chill in a gorgeous, family-friendly environment. While this is not an exhaustive list, here are some of our favorite highlights of activities at Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point:

Nassau
Nassau, the capital of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, is the largest city on New Providence Island and offers a wide variety of historical, cultural, leisure, and recreational activities.
Depending on the sailing and current availability, families may choose resort day experiences, beach excursions, marine life encounters, catamaran trips or historical and cultural tours. Is a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas worth it for your family?
For many families, a Disney Cruise to the Bahamas offers an approachable way to experience Disney Cruise Line while combining time onboard to experience the Disney Cruise difference with a tropical island vacation in a beautiful setting.
A 3 night cruise may work well when doing a land and sea Florida vacation, if vacation time is limited, or your family wants to try Disney Cruise Line before committing to a longer sailing. The tradeoff is you may feel the vacation moves quickly, leaving less time to explore the ship.
A 4 or 5-night cruise generally gives families more time to really enjoy the ship, schedule adult dining or spa experiences and recover from busy port days. Some sailings also visit both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay, giving you double the fun!
