Universal Orlando Signature Collection Hotels
Universal Orlando’s Signature Collection hotels offer elevated accommodations, resort amenities and convenient access to the Universal theme parks.
But there is one VERY important distinction families need to understand:
Signature Collection does not automatically mean complimentary Universal Express Unlimited.
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Royal Pacific Resort include complimentary Universal Express Unlimited at participating attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure for registered hotel guests with valid admission.
Many people may know these by a different collection name, as Universal used to call these Premiere Resorts.
Universal Helios Grand Hotel and Loews Sapphire Falls do not include the complimentary Express Unlimited benefit, and the hotel-included Express benefit does not apply at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay.

The Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando is one of Universal Orlando’s Signature (formally premiere) hotels. You can “live like a rock star” and savor the perks of rock ‘n’ roll royalty with fun, contemporary surroundings, a laid-back vibe and Hard Rock’s iconic show-stopping service.
When it’s time for a break, escape to a palm-lined swimming pool, incredible rock memorabilia and amped-up recreation featuring live music – including some famous names such as Taylor Swift, Elvis, Prince and more.

Mom Approved note: Hard Rock’s location can be a HUGE benefit for families spending a lot of time at Universal Studios Florida, City Walk and Island of Adventure. Being able to walk back to the hotel for a break without turning it into a whole thing can make a Universal vacation feel a lot more vacation-ish.
Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Orlando is a tranquil South Seas style retreat and one of Universal’s Signature Cllection hotels. This resort is a lush, beautiful place to relax after a busy day in the parks. A sparkling lagoon-style pool surrounded by a white sand beach and swaying palms invites you to relax and play.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel is the Signature Collection hotel located at Universal Epic Universe, overlooking Celestial Park with a beautiful lobby with a great use of natural light.
Helios Grand Hotel’s biggest distinction is location: hotel guests with valid park admission have access to a dedicated entrance into Epic Universe.

Escape to the Island Paradise of Sapphire Falls Resort. From the stone turret in the lobby to the inviting charm of each room and suite, you’re surrounded by a vivid and textured haven that is inspired by landmarks of the islands.

Universal Orlando Prime Value Resorts
The Prime Value resorts at Universal Orlando offer an affordable option with essential amenities and Early Park Admission to the theme parks. These resorts offer complimentary bus transportation to Universal CityWalk, Universal Studios, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Epic Universe and a walking path leading directly to Universal’s water park, Volcano Bay.
Universal Aventura Hotel is a modern and stylish place to stay. This perfectly priced hotel has a stunning rooftop bar, market-style dining options and a robot hotel attendant named Cosmo.

Which Universal Orlando Hotels Include Express Pass?
Express Passes can give a great value on time while on a family vacation!
Three Universal Orlando hotels include complimentary Universal Express Unlimited for registered hotel guests:
- Loews Portofino Bay Hotel
- Hard Rock Hotel
- Loews Royal Pacific Resort
The included Express Unlimited benefit applies to participating attractions at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure with valid theme park admission.
It does not include Universal Epic Universe or Universal Volcano Bay.
Universal Helios Grand Hotel is a Signature Collection hotel, but it does not include complimentary Express Unlimited.
For some families, included Express changes the hotel math completely.
A more expensive hotel can sometimes provide a better overall vacation value once you compare the cost of purchasing Express separately.
For another family, Express may not be where we recommend spending those additional vacation dollars.

If Epic Universe is one of the biggest priorities of your Universal Orlando vacation, hotel location should get a little more weight in the decision process.
The three closest hotel options to Epic Universe are:
- Universal Helios Grand Hotel sits at Epic Universe and offers hotel guests with valid admission a dedicated entrance directly into the park.
- Universal Stella Nova Resort is adjacent to Epic Universe and offers both walking-path and complimentary shuttle access.
- Universal Terra Luna Resort is also adjacent to Epic Universe, with complimentary shuttle transportation.
While Epic Universe is located further away from Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure than most people realize, don’t automatically assume that the hotel closest to Epic Universe is the BEST hotel for your vacation.
If your family is spending several days at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, included Express, transportation and the balance of your park days may change the equation, and our recommendation.

Resort buses run about every twenty minutes, but early in the morning and near park closing they run more frequently. - Priority seating at select Universal Orlando restaurants in the City Walk area remains a benefit for guests of Portofino Bay, Hard Rock and Royal Pacific, subject to availability and restrictions.

- Complimentary Delivery of Merchandise to your hotel – No need to drag around all those souvenirs!
