Discover the Magic of Wicked: a limited-time Spellbinding Experience at Universal Orlando
21 years ago, Wicked arrived to Broadway and finally on November 22, 2024 Wicked fans no longer have to wait for a silver screen adaptation!
Universal Orlando has created a fun experience JUST for Wicked fans old, and new. Are you ready to be swept out of your ruby slippers and into a magical world of green, pink, merchandise, movie artifacts and treats celebrating the story of Elphaba and Glinda?
Thankfully, you won’t need an invitation to see the Wizard in Emerald City, but you WILL need a ticket to Universal Studios Florida theme park inside Universal Orlando! You will find the Wicked Experience just inside the Universal Studios Florida theme park entrance, across from the Today Cafe where the Hello Kitty store was located.
Fans of Universal Orlando know the Tribute Store changes seasonally, but this is more than a traditional Tribute Store layover, and it will be around longer than a season, as Wicked Part 2 is slated to be released in November 2025.
All the Wicked Merch
Chances are we will get new and fun merchandise for the Wicked Franchise between the initial release of Wicked Part 1 and Wicked Part 2 to keep the pink and green merchandise flowing!
We have purposefully NOT included a ton of pictures of merchandise, because some of the fun of the Wicked Experience is exploring all the nooks and crannies in air conditioned comfort!
What you can expect with the initial merchandise release:
- The Shiz University collection with a classic collegiate or school spirit feel, similar to the Hogwarts school merchandise found in the Wizarding World. You can pick up a Spirit jersey, duffle bag, tumbler, hat, or journal dedicated to the school where Glinda and Elphaba meet to show off your Shiz spirit.
- The Studio MinaLima collection contains exclusive graphics and prints on accessories, home goods, and stationery that will have a familiar aesthetic.
- The “Wicked” logo collection offers T-shirts, sweatshirts, and collaborations with Mattel, Funko Pop!, LEGO, Loungefly, and The Noble Collection provide souvenirs for all ages and interests with the classic Wicked W lettermark icon in striking black and green.
- Wicked Exclusive Starbucks drinkware at all Starbucks locations across both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort to add to your cup collection!
Wicked Costume Displays
You will also find original costume replicas created specifically for this experience by costume designers to give you an upclose view of all the details that went into the beautiful costumes for not only Elphaba and Glinda, but other characters as well.
Are there Wicked photo ops? Of course!
Our personal favorite is of course, Elphaba’s iconic broom and window because….it references a great scene with an INCREDIBLE song, but we aren’t into spoiling anything for folks who have not seen the movie yet.
Wicked themed treats? Yes please!
Outside the Wicked Experience you will find a Wickedly delicious kiosk with fun themed items including Ozvocado toast for folks who want a healthy treat, or a Pink goes well with green shake for those looking for a treat!
So much Wicked fun to see and experience
I really didn’t want to ruin all of the surprises, so I kept the photos to a minimum so you can have as much fun checking out all the pink and green fun in the Wicked Experience as you had when you experienced Wicked the first time on screen or on stage! There are a TON of little details that may just cast a spell on you to rock your green as you fly around Universal Orlando Resort making memories with your people.
