Port of Galveston: What to expect

Royal Caribbean Cruise Port Address:  Port of Galveston Cruise Terminal 10, 1402 Harborside Dr, Galveston, TX 77550
This cruise terminal is state of the art and incredible! Many MAT Advisor were there for the Grand Opening and were on the first sailing out of the new port when in opened.

Galveston Port Parking:

  • North Lot, North Premium Lot are closest, walkable 
  • Pier 42 Lot, Pier 14 Lot, South Lot all convenient with free Galveston Wharves shuttle

Flying Into Houston

  • We strongly suggest flying in the day BEFORE your sailing to avoid missing your Royal Caribbean Cruise in case there is a flight delay. 
  • HOU (Hobby): 45 minutes, but usually much longer with traffic, your MAT Travel Advisor will guide you for ideal flight times.
  • IAH (Bush Intercontinental): ~70 minutes, but Houston traffic is very much as factor.
