Disney Believe Ship Influence, Theming & Disney Details
The Disney Believe is being designed around the ideas of promise, possibility and belief.
Disney says the stories onboard will connect through themes including believing in magic, believing in family, believing in the power of nature and believing in yourself. That influence already shows up in the ship’s first revealed character details, from Moana in the Grand Hall to Tinker Bell on the bow and Woody and Buzz Lightyear on the stern.
It was announced at D23 in August 2026, the venue concepts and entertainment experiences that will be shaped by some of Disney’s most beloved stories, including Disney Animation’s Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Moana and The Little Mermaid.
Moana in the Disney Believe Grand Hall
The Grand Hall of the Disney Believe will be inspired by Disney Animation’s Moana films and their spirit of exploration.
A bronze-cast statue of Moana, accompanied by Pua and Heihei, will greet Guests in the Grand Hall.
Disney’s concept art also shows influences from the South Pacific setting of the films, with Polynesian-inspired finishes incorporated into the design.

Who Is on the Bow of the Disney Believe?
The Disney Believe’s bow will feature Tinker Bell in the ship’s hand-painted filigree.
Disney is adding even more storytelling around her, with silhouettes of Peter Pan, Wendy, Captain Hook and other characters from Peter Pan appearing throughout the surrounding artwork.

Who Is on the Stern of the Disney Believe?
The stern of the Disney Believe will feature Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Pixar’s Toy Story.
Disney’s design shows the pair using oversized yellow crayons to create the ship’s name. In a fun departure from the rest of the fleet, the Believe will use playful block-style lettering inspired by Toy Story rather than Disney Cruise Line’s traditional script.

Staterooms onboard the Disney Believe are designed with families in mind like all Disney Cruise Line ships. Wish class (or Triton Class) ships are well appointed, comfortable, with a fantastical nautical elegance.
Most cabins on Disney Cruise Line’s Believe will have have split bathrooms, which are absolutely ideal for families and make things MUCH easier when getting ready to start, or wind down your day! Split baths are Mom Approved for sure!

Disney Cruise Line’s Veranda Staterooms are what many cruisers would call the “balcony” cabin category. Verandah cabins are the most spacious non-Concierge staterooms, each with a private verandah, some with partial views.
These are a great choice for larger families, some cabins hold up to 5 people.

While specific theming has not been announced for the Disney Believe yet, we wanted to share what is typical of Disney Cruise Line’s incredible Kids Clubs. Just know we have warned you, your kids will NEVER want to leave the ship because Disney truly is the absolute best cruise line for kids. Our favorite part about bringing the kids on a Disney cruise is Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Vibe and Edge are included in your cruise fare, so you can let them play without an additional cost!
Oceaneer Club (3-10) complimentary
While details on the Disney Believe have not been announced, her sister ships typically have a central rotunda with iconic twinkling light ceiling and stage acting as a hub to 4 different lands to explore and play. Here, kids can watch favorite Disney movies on a huge plasma screen, enjoy an engaging story time and receive special in-person and virtual visits from favorite Disney Character friends.
Edge (11-14) complimentary
Tweens will have their very own space to chill and have fun on the Disney Believe filled with activities, a photobooth, television, video games and a tween-focused space.
Typically full of electronics, tables, and gaming stations, there are plenty of ways to chill with fellow tweens while enjoying music, arts and crafts, karaoke, scavenger hunts, selfie walls, Vibe takeovers and themed nights of fun!
Vibe (14-17) complimentary
Teens will get their very own space to call their own (trust us, it’s always cool!), designed thoughtfully with teenagers interests in mind. They can engage, hang or chill while mingling or doing their thing while chaperoned by counselors who are “cool” enough to be fun.
Nursery (under 3) fee required
Even the tiniest guests have an option to play in a colorful, fun childcare center while you enjoy time with the older kiddos or date night!
Note: It’s a Small World Nursery DOES have an additional cost, and we do suggest making reservations, as capacity is limited. Reservations can be made on a first-come, first-served basis during open house on your DCL cruise Embarkation Day or anytime throughout your sailing.

Looking for something quick so you and the family can hop back into the pool? No worries!
Disney Believe sister ships feature a Marceline Market – a casual buffet will have tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings with plenty of tasty dessert bites, and it is anticipated she will offer the same delicious experience.
There will be plenty of other grab and go options on the ship, and the themes vary but fun options like:
- A festival of foods – typically quick items like bbq, pizza, grill, tacos and iconic Disney Cruise soft serve ice cream with rotating flavors
- Two Specialty Coffee Cafes
- Sweet shop (with an extra cost) themed after a beloved character featuring delicious treats
Adult Only Dining on the Disney Believe

24 Hour Room Service on the Disney Believe
Unlike other cruise lines, in-room dining is complementary (though a few select snacks and adulty beverages do have an additional cost). Lunch and dinner options like burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and grilled options are available all day, except during breakfast hours, where a continental breakfast is served.
Snacks are the BEST part about Disney Cruise in-room dining! Milk and cookies before bed? Mickey bar at midnight? Your Disney cruise snack dreams can come true!
Disney Believe Pools and Water Playareas

Parents please note: complimentary pool vests are available on deck, so please leave those floaties, rafts and pool noodles at home, as those items are not allowed onboard.
One of the ways you will see the Disney Difference onboard: you won’t need to pack pool towels for your Disney Cruise. Pool towels are complimentary onboard, with no check-in, no check-out, and no “lost towel” charges or fees to worry about like other cruise lines!

- Lounge theme to be announced – everyone can enjoy family-friendly entertainment such as karaoke, trivia game shows, contests and dance parties in this 2 story lounge themed with inspiration from Black Panther.
- Disney Cruise Pirate Night – Most itineraries include a full or partial “Pirate Night” which may include a Pirate-night meal where you arrrrr greeted by your servers in a whole new way, a “Pirates of the Caribbean” Deck Party, special meet and greets, fun and familiar pirate music in the hallways, and other special events.

Disney Cruise Line has not confirmed if Uncharted Adventures will be present on the Disney Believe yet.
Character Greetings
There are too many opportunities to list here for character greetings with some of your favorite Disney characters!
Some of these character interactions and events will be scheduled, spontaneous, throughout the ship at designated places and during special surprises appearances during your sailing, but you should run into favorite friends from Disney, Pixar and possibly Marvel.
Fireworks at Sea
Most itineraries include Fireworks at Sea, which is part of the Disney Cruise Pirate night fun!
Sports and Fitness
- Fitness center – for those who want to continue their workouts at sea, there is a wide variety of state of the art equipment for cardio, weights and more to get your sweat on!
- Hero Zone not yet announced – typically included on Wish (Triton) class ships, this area is a flexible space is full of activities to keep everyone moving! Families can play Incredi-games, enjoy basketball courts, soccer, foosball, airhockey, table tennis, and shuffleboard.
Senses Spa & Salon
Found on all Disney Cruise Line ships, Senses Spa & Salon onboard offers a wide variety of spa experiences. One of the MAT favorites is the Rainforest Room. You will also find options for massage, stone therapies, facials, cosmetic treatments and more.
Salon services such as manicures, pedicures, blowouts, up-dos, and more are also available.
Lounges & Nightclubs
Many of these lounges are open to families during the day, but when night falls, several become adult-exclusive areas catering to the grownups! Sister ships have lounges themed with inspiration from favorite stories, attractions and characters such as Haunted Mansion, Star Wars, Cruella DiVil, Jungle Cruise, and we look forward to hearing what will be the themes for the Disney Believe!

For most itineraries, the minimum age for babies to sail with a parent or guardian is 6 months at the time of embarkation; but some itineraries such as South Pacific, Transatlantic, Hawaii and Panama Canal repositioning cruises, the minimum age to sail is 1 year. Your MAT Advisor will be happy to review age requirements for the specific cruise you would like to sail with you.
Yes, it is a US Public Health Service rule that only potty trained children many enter swimming pools, hot tubs or spas on any cruise ship.
Swim diapers are NOT permitted In Disney pools, spas, hotubs or on water slides such as the AquaDuck, AquaLab and AquaDunk and AquaMouse.
Each of the DCL ship do have a water play area which allows littles who are not potty trained and use a swim diaper to utilize special water play areas:
- Nemo’s Reef on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy
- Nephew’s Spash Zone on the Disney Magic
- Dory’s Reef on the Disney Wonder
- Toy Story Splash Zone on the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure
Yes they do! Castaway Cay in the Bahamas and Lighthouse Point in Eluthra are exclusively for Disney Cruise guests. Your MAT Advisor can help you find an itinerary and date that works best for you to visit them!
