What is Mickey’s No So Scary Halloween Party?

Since 1995, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party has been Walt Disney World’s premier Halloween event! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event held at Magic Kingdom in the fall at Walt Disney World that runs officially from 7:00 pm – midnight on select MNSSHP party nights.

This fan-favorite Disney Halloween party is a “not-so-scary” family-friendly event and very appropriate for children of all ages with Halloween stage shows, entertainment, unique character meet and greet opportunities, seasonal Halloween overlays on selected attractions, trick or treating stations, the “Boo to You” parade, special fireworks and more!

What time does Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party start?

The party officially starts at 7:00 pm and takes over all of Magic Kingdom theme park. Mickey’s No Scary Halloween party officially ends at
midnight, but you can enjoy the last show which begins at 12 am, meander a bit and shop.

MNSSHP guests do not need separate theme park admission or Park Pass reservations for the party, and you will be able to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 pm with your Halloween party ticket. You will receive your wristband at the Magic Kingdom entrance.

On Halloween party days, the Magic Kingdom theme park closes to the public at 6:00 pm. If you are planning to be in Magic Kingdom before 4pm, you will need “normal” theme park admission. Thankfully, you will not have to exit the park to receive your party wristbands at designated pickup locations inside the park which will allow you to stay inside the park for the party if you have also purchased a party ticket.

New for 2024: the first Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade will start an hour earlier at 8:15pm so that littles who don’t want to stay up late can view the parade!
